Andrew Chang, M.D., AGAF
Dr. Chang was born March 31, 1964 and grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1990 and completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1996. He joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical School before moving to Grass Valley. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and enjoys practicing all aspects of general Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and coaching his children’s sports teams (soccer and football). He also enjoys tennis and snow skiing. Dr. Chang and his wife, Diane, have two children.
Benjamin A. Brichler, M.D.
Dr. Brichler grew up in Scottsdale, AZ. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in 2005 and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of California San Diego in 2008. Dr. Brichler completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center/Phoenix VA Medical Center in 2011. He then joined Sutter Medical Group in Auburn and practiced there for over 5 years prior to joining Sierra Nevada Gastroenterology. Dr. Brichler is board certified in both Internal Medici ne and Gastroenterology, and enjoys practicing in all aspects of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy. Dr. Brichler enjoys golfing, mountain biking, cooking and gardening. He and his wife, Sarah, have two children.
Aslam Godil, M.D., FACP, AGAF
Dr. Aslam Godil was born December 14, 1963 and grew up in Pakistan. He graduated from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan in 1989. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in 1994 and Gastroenterology fellowship in 1998 at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He stayed on as Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University until 2000, after which he moved to Grass Valley. Dr. Godil is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and enjoys practicing all aspects of general Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy. Dr. Godil enjoys the outdoors with his family. He and his wife, Fouzia, who is an Internist, have three children.
Roy Foliente, M.D., AGAF
Dr. Foliente was born March 31, 1966 and grew up in Chicago, IL and Los Angeles, CA. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1993 and remained at Loma Linda University Medical Center for internship, residency and subspecialty fellowship training, which he completed in 1999. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Foliente enjoys practicing general Gastroenterology but has specific interests in colon cancer and diseases of the liver, pancreas and biliary tree. Dr. Foliente enjoys the outdoors and is an avid tennis player and skier. He also enjoys World War II history. Dr. Foliente and his wife, Michelle, have three children.
Kevin Hill, D.O.
Dr. Hill grew up in southern California near Anaheim. He graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in 1999 at Loma Linda University but stayed on an additional year as the chief medical resident. Dr Hill then completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at Loma Linda in 2003. After fellowship he took a position at Sutter Medical Group in Auburn California where he practiced for over 5 years. He will be starting in Grass Valley in January 2009. Dr Hill is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His areas of interest include therapeutic endoscopy and hepatology, though he enjoys all aspects of Gastroenterology. Dr Hill enjoys athletics and reading. He is married and has 2 children.
